Looking for books similar to Mercedes Lackey Elemental Masters

Hello, I have been doing a re-read of fbe Elemental Masters series by Mercedes Lackey, which is one of my favorite series. But one thing I keep running into is I want more lol.

Is there any other series out there either is either

A. About Elemental magic and the Elementals

B. About people discovering magic for the first time and learning to use it.

I would love a series about the same character or group of characters too. Maybe using their new powers. One problem I have is each story is self contained and we don't get to see that character really bloom with their magic. Thank you in advance!
