    1. Maybe Survivor by Chuck Palahniuk? It’s less about a corporate culture and more about a literal cult that sends their young out into the world to work and send money back to the cult.

I feel like this is a super niche genre. So I’m eager to see what everyone else has to recommend.

    2. The Circle by Dave Eggers might fit this!

A memoir that came to mind is Beyond Belief by Jenna Miscavige. Her uncle is the leader of Scientology and her book is about leaving that cult.

    3. Cultish by Amanda Montell includes stories about several companies with culty behavior. It’s a great read if you’re interested in the phenomena of cult and cult-like behavior.

It’s nonfiction, but Bad Blood by John Carreyrou goes into the cult-like environment Elizabeth Holmes created at Theranos

First one that leaps to mind is The Circle by Dave Eggers. Set in the tech industry of the 2010s; took the (then less common) view that social media might go badly for us.

    6. Come here…come to my office…we will teach you all the things you need to know in life—-in all sincerity, though, working a state job feels like this sometimes. And it’s always shifting. I prefer to stay under the radar and just do my required duties

    7. Ooh boy do I have one for you. The Fund by Rob Copeland, which is about Ray Dalio and bridgewater
