Im a writer and am looking for a Lovecraftian/Victorian fantasy series or book. To give a little extra, im writing a world where people explore old dead worlds and use Oil, the blood of old dead gods, and infomration/knowledge for their powers and world buildings.
Things like floating buildings, abstract powers, beings from beyond the veil, and current living gods and dead ones (in a sort of dark souls style, thing Dark Souls information gathering + and bloodborne era).
I currently have a set of H.P. Lovecraft books which i plan on reading as well. (Stories of Dreamland, Dunwhich Horror, Mountains of Madness, Call of Cthulhu, Randolph Carter Tales, and Macarbe Tales)
My world is inspired quit a bit by Soulsborne, Kingdom Hearts, Dishonored, little bit of Jujutsu Kaisen, and Arcane (League of Legends show).

If you are open to visual novels (an audiovisual novel where you can make choices ), I recommend The Song of Saya.
Our wives under the sea is a recent book in that vein. I enjoyed it.
Maybe some China Mieville- Perdido Street Station and Thomas Ligotti- Teatro Grottesco (for creativity’s sake and demons you might also wanna look into some Warhammer novels Plague Daemon etc and occultism/demonology- Clavicula Salomonis/Lemegeton, the Grand Grimmoire etc)
As a counterpoint to Lovecraft’s racism, try Lovecraft Country.
