I am really in the mood for books where the protagonist is eccentric, to say the least. You could say, morally gray or messed up, much like Fleabag.
Some books that I read and really enjoyed:
– Milk Fed
– Cleopatra and Frankenstein
– My Year of Rest & Relaxation
– Big Swiss
– The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo (not really an 'eccentric' protagonist, but a strong one regardless)

Anything by Chuck Palahniuk! I feel like his writing is the epitome of eccentric MCs and morally gray/messed up (but also brilliant and crazy creative). Maybe start with Choke or Survivor?
