So I've just finished reading Project Hail Mary for the second time and realised that the key selling point of this book, for me, is the relationship between the two main character (not spoiling)
I'm open to any genre and I'm relatively new to reading so don't have alot of books under my wing, some of what I have read in the last year though are Dungeon Crawler Carl (currently on book 4) and Bobiverse (couldn't get into it)
Don't necessarily need to stay in the sci fi genre, just what I've been recommended since reading PHM

*Jam* by Yahtzee Croshaw. It’s ridiculous in a sort of slapsticky but also Sharknado way, but I think you’d enjoy it.
