Hey I don’t read alot, but I’m trying to break my screen time down by a lot…

I enjoy historical fiction, dystopian, and idk mostly more grounded things- fantasy books i think I struggle with. I prefer down to earth- maybe a little romance straight or not. I enjoy coming of age but not middle school level.

I’m 20 so just nothing crazy old like pride and prejudice because I’m not good with the comprehension.

I’d appreciate some recs! I think I’m gonna try to read one book a month (not a lot but I do read at all now)

    1. How about Last Night at the Lobster by Stewart O’Nan. It’s a short (150 pages?) quick read about a Red Lobster manager working a final short-staffed shift during a busy Christmas week while trying to figure out his life.
