I have been in the mood for some classic fantasy straight from my childhood, way back when the dinosaurs roamed in the 90s. Though, it would absolutely pwn if it were gay.
I am already well read in Luck in the Shadows by Lynn Flewelling, Swordspoint by Ellen Kushner, and Mercedes Lackey's Magic's Pawn series.
It doesn't actually have to be an old fantasy, I just want it to feel classic. You know, swords and sorcery, adventure and what not.

This might be a little bit off from what you are thinking–older, in fact, but what about The Song of Achilles? It’s about Achilles and Petroclus.
I guess I don’t know what classic really means here but The Spear Cuts Through Water is kind of a timeless thing not set any specific country or time period, and is gay!
