I'm trying to get into more non-western poetry but I don't really know many authors beyond some staples like Pablo Neruda, etc. They can be of any race like East Asian, South Asian, African, Middle Eastern, Latin American etc.
Your title says non-white, but then the description says non-western….. my suggestions are by poets who are people of colour, but I think they were all born and raised in a western country (USA I think)
“Femme in Public”, and “Your Wound/ My Garden”, both by Alok Vaid Menon
