Suggest me the best series you’ve ever read

I'm going through a really difficult period of my life and go through books so quickly. I'd love a series I could get lost in as I usually just read standalone books. Open to anything as long as it isn't brandon sanderson lol! (too politics/world building heavy for me haha)
