I’ve read so many books but it’s always the same, the shy fmc that always needs saving or is always dependent on the mmc ( not that I don’t like it) I actually don’t mind it too much but it’s becoming boring to read about the same thing I want a story where the fmc is saving the mmc where she is the mafia boss. Where she is the feisty one and the mmc is shy and nerdy but still naughty…if you get what I’m saying

His Secret Illuminations by Scarlett Gale is a complete role reversal of the stereotype you described.
The beginning of Cradle is this. However, if you’re looking for *that* kinda book, Cradle isn’t the one. It fills your trope, but it’s a straight laced book, if you know what I mean
Yumi and the Nightmare Painter might be worth a try.
