It’s been a long time since the last time I read fiction/novel. The book is great overall, slightly over 290k words, just author didn’t give detailed appearance of the female protagonist until it reached 96%. So at that point I read the appearance description from the perspective of an important supporting character, it felt too deliberate and weird, then I had a strong premonition that the female protagonist will die. And the book ends with the sentence says she suicided when and where.
I don’t know I should feel with this. It is like a friend of mine who I never pay too much attention about her dressing and appearance suddenly dresses up so beautifully one day that catch my attention. That’s a sign or warning to me in real life.
Is this premonition very common or just me and the author have minds think alike?

This is not a premonition. It is reading for context and using logic.
That’s literally not a premonition, it’s picking up on foreshadowing. That’s a normal part of reading. Congrats, you have basic comprehension skills.
OP has discovered foreshadowing and they think they’re psychic, fucking *adorable*.
And is it really foreshadowing when it happens at 96% into the story? I always thought foreshadowing was more like a callback from earlier in the story. Not something that happens right in line with the action?
