I've been trying to read more lately, but need recommendations for actually good books. I prefer fiction books/book series. I mostly enjoy the fantasy genre but I'll pretty much read any other genres as well except for horror probably. Also I'd prefer books that aren't too explicit.

The Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson is perfect for this – amazing magic system and world building without being too graphic or explicit
