Suggest Non-fiction for a fiction reader

I’m someone who has never completed read a non-fiction book (apart for academic purposes) and would love to pick something that doesn’t make me regret the same. My general go to genres in fiction include crime-fiction and high fantasy.

Can you recommend me a few non-fiction reads that might read like fiction to help me adapt to this medium?
