I'm finally done with watching Brigerton and I would love to historcal romance in that style! Does anyone know books that are similar to the show that are actually good? I've heared many people say that Brigerton books are not very well written.

Full disclosure I haven’t read/seen Bridgerton so in terms of exact vibe I’m not sure, but I love Georgette Heyer’s Regency romances that I’ve read – Cotillion and False Colours are my favs – they’re funny and well-written with tons of period detail, although not steamy like I’ve heard Bridgerton is!
