i mainly like fantasy, romance, thriller, or comedy, literary fiction. im in a slump and want a short, fast paced read that's gripping the whole way through. ideally like 400 pages or less. i don't like pure smut books. any recommendations? thanks!!!

Check out The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo – it’s got that perfect page-turner vibe and clocks in around 350 pages. Not pure romance but has romantic elements and the pacing is chef’s kiss
Ilona Andrews Innkeeper Chronicles –A magic Inn, space werewolves and vampires, a lot of really unique aliens, mystery, romance, action, a fun and humorous series
Whenever im in a reading slump or finished a series I find i need a theme reset. So in the category but leans more lighthearted, I liked The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches. Theres no smut but its an easy read and quite enjoyable to get back into the groove of things.
