Complicated situation. I’m (21M) visiting my girlfriend (21F) soon and we want to annotate books for eachother, but I’m so focused on it being the perfect gift, I haven’t been able to settle on anything. I want her to see me in this book, or ideally, both of us. She loves the classics, some horror, has dabbled in romance and she really liked female authors.
Some things that I’m maybe looking for are: books about alienation and sharing experiences with someone else that no one else can relate to, learning to be better together, amazing chemistry and fun banter. Above all else, I’d really like it to be a good book, so that at the very least, we both enjoy it.
