Hey guys, i wanred to come on here to ask if anyone who has read either/both Ghosting by Edith Pattou or Making bombs for hitler by Marsha Skrypuch knew of any potential reads that are similar to either? If im remembering correctly, i really enjoyed the two books and i'd love to know if there are any similar novels i should take a look at

    Thanks!

P.S. im specifically looking for some more difficult reading-level books with complicated characters and storylines (maybe multi-perspective or in verse like Ghosting or Nazi historical fiction like Making Bombs for Hitler) and powerful novels with impactful (and most likely grim/bittersweet) endings
(WITHOUT SPOILERS OR HINTS TO THE TYPE OF ENDING PLEASE!!!) 😅

Haven’t read those specific ones but based on what you’re looking for, maybe check out The Book Thief by Markus Zusak – it’s got that WWII setting with a unique narrative style and definitely hits the complicated characters/impactful ending criteria you mentioned
