I read East of Eden a month ago and now I’m in a slump

Help me!

I started to read Earthlings by Sayaka Murata but (SPOILERS) when I got to the sexual abuse part I couldn't continue.

Then I went for an easy read, Atmosphere by Taylor Jenkins Reed. I liked Seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo and Daisy Jones but I couldn't really get into this one..

Now I'm reading A Moveable feast by Hemingway and I like it but still the craving for a great book isn't satisfied.

Small things like these

Death of a salesman

Project hail Mary

East of Eden was maybe the best book I've ever read next to Count of Monte Cristo and I feel like nothing could scratch that itch.
