I'm looking for short/medium length stories within the theme of recluses, a human/non-human living alone far away from any civilisation. Books like Into The Wild by John Krakauer but I'm primarily looking for fiction, maybe with a more nature-focused feel. Could also be more than one character, and aimed at any audience from children to adult! Thank you 🙂

Wild dark shore might work. Was entertaining. A family far from civilization are caretakers of a seed vault.
