My wife has been searching for a book, she’s even started a few but can’t get into them. This year she read and enjoyed God of the Woods, Outlawed, Circe, and Song of Achilles. I think she would enjoy a nice mystery or thriller that is decently written (one where the protagonist is not misogynistic).

*Piranesi* by Susanna Clarke was great and highly immersive, and the writing reminded me of *Circe*.
