So I am looking into something along the lines of the shows like deadliest catch or wicked tuna.
Also there is this guy on YouTube Jacob knowles who fishes lobster who puts out like similar videos so maybe something like that too?
I had read perfect storm by Sebastian Junger a long back which I liked. But I would prefer something taking place in current times.

down to earth by sebastian junger is another solid pick if you liked perfect storm, though it’s more recent journalism than fiction
for something more current check out “the hungry ocean” by linda greenlaw – she’s an actual swordboat captain and writes about modern commercial fishing life, pretty much exactly what your looking for based on those shows you mentioned
