Looking for fast paced psychological thrillers

Hi
I'm looking for pure psychological thrillers. Not police procedurals, not cop focused or based on a detective, and no romance.
Needs to grab me from the very beginning.
Books with less than 300 pages are preferred.
Do such books exist?
