Hello!
Me and my wife are going to an all inclusive resort this upcoming weekend and I am looking for a good short-medium length book to read while on the trip.
Some of my favorite books are:
East of Eden – Steinbeck
Blood Meridian – Cormac McCarthy
Slaughterhouse 5 – Kurt Vonnegut
Stormlight Archives – Brandon Sanderson
Any genres are welcome, but I do lean strongly towards fiction and would like to avoid memoirs or biographies.

Other cormac mc Carthy, no country for old men, etc…. They are all good.
Project Hail Mary and the Martian are the best feel good science fiction, shorter reads
