So I haven't read any kind of book in my entire life(apart from academic ones obviously) and I thought of reading the book hatchet since I've heard it's great for beginners.
So I ordered it from Amazon. But then I saw that the one I ordered was 30th anniversary edition and there is separate original one. So did I made a mistake? Is the 30th anniversary one different from the original? Which is better the original or the anniversary one.
Also I saw the anniversary one is cheaper than the original

Usually anniversary versions are the same book, often with a new forward or acknowledgments section. Most people don’t even read those parts of books.
