Hello everyone. Hope you're all well.

I was hoping that I could list a few books that I've really enjoyed and some of you experienced readers could suggest some books along similar lines?

The Humans. By Matt Haig

I don't enjoy sci-fi. I'm yet to enjoy fantasy but haven't given up hope. I might be persuaded if there's some fairly short, modern fantasy if there's such a thing. I always stop reading when there's too many creature names or generic fantasy lore than most people get but go completely over my head.
