17F and just got out of a massive reading slump through reading Song of Achilles. Genuinely a work of art and would love to read more books echoing that kind of theme. Any recommendations?? Preferably ones that don’t have like a really boring beginning and are fairly fast paced

All’s Quiet on the Western Front. Not much love in that one (aside from love of country). It’s a classic and relatively short and you’ll probably be sad but it’s so worthwhile to read.
