My main three book subjects are medieval history, wwII, and horror. Winter is taking its toll on my SSRIs and I need something upbeat to take the edge off but I'm overly skeptical of brightly colored books. I'm hesitant to buy something just to find out I've paid $20 for some Colleen Hoover/Stephanie Meyer trash.
Please give me the books that made you chuckle, with strong characters and sunny days.
