I love conspriacy theories, not the earth is flat, hollow earth, or any obviously fake conspiracies like those, what I mean is stuff like the numerous conspiracies surrounding 9/11, pedophiles and the elites (Jeffery Epstein, North fox island), and conspiracies relating to freemasonry and occultism (priory of Sion, Saturn worship etc).

I guess what I’m trying to say is books that either talk about conspiracies or fiction books that read like you’re reading conspiracies, sorry if I didn’t explain that well and thanks for any suggestions.

oh dude you should definitely check out “dark alliance” by gary webb – it’s about the cia’s involvement in crack cocaine distribution in the 80s and it’s absolutely wild how well documented everything is. the guy literally had his career destroyed for exposing this stuff. for fiction that feels super realistic, “the power of the dog” trilogy by don winslow reads like someone leaked classified dea files about the drug war. also “blackwater” by jeremy scahill isn’t technically conspiracy but when you read about what private military contractors actually do, it makes most conspiracy theories seem tame by comparison. these books hit that sweet spot where you’re constantly wondering how much of this stuff is actually happening behind closed doors.
