i don’t know much about the book community because people here often just disregard reading.
i simply pick up books and i read a little bit of everything. books on biology, psychology, children’s books, and i’ve read 1984 as well.
i’m looking for books like Vicky Angel by Jacqueline Wilson, or perhaps just something like children’s books with the awareness of life and experiencing it (it was the first book that made me fall in love with reading, re-read it many times)
i’d like to get books on human behaviour as well, i already have “What Everybody is saying” by Joe Navarro, but if there are any other books that can showcase emotions in depth to understand people better that would be great
i would like to read about love stories where one of them dies too, i haven’t dabbled in the genre much but ive though about it a lot and have watched a few movies with the same premise
thank you all for your suggestions

The Book Thief, by Markus Zusak
Everything Is Tuberculosis was a surprisingly human centric book. Talks about how human behavior was altered by, and altered, the spread of TB
How To Be Perfect by Michael Shur. It’s moral philosophy but in a fun, conversational way.
Me Before You by Jojo Moyes for the one dies trope.
If you want one that feels like a gift to yourself, try Piranesi. It’s short, beautiful, and the atmosphere is really memorable.
