Hi all! I am wondering if anyone has read any books on self sabotage and think they are actually worth a recommendation? Mostly looking for non fiction books. The psychology behind why we do it, how to work through it, etc. If you don’t mind including why you recommend it (how it helped you) then that would be very helpful! No worries if you don’t want to let me know why.
P.S. I will also take any book recommendations on fiction novels of characters self sabotaging as I might still find them helpful plus entertaining.
Thank you!!

The Midnight Library by Matt Haig (fiction book). The way the protagonist keeps going back through different versions of their life and confronting regrets and choices feels like a deep, emotional look at how we get in our own way. It’s thoughtful but also a really engaging read, so you don’t feel like you’re just being lectured.
