Japanese authors in a western context?

there has to be more than just Murakami and Ishiguro right?

and I mean western context as in, I don’t really care too much for “this is a book about my identity as an Asian in the west” but just larger theme in the same vein as the two authors mentioned who kinda keeps most of their identity out of it.
