Books that’ll make me cry

Hi, I’m looking for books that’ll make me cry, I especially prefer motifs involving unrequited feelings, unconditional love towards someone toxic and generally very complex dynamics, with an unhappy ending as I do want to be sad here haha

!!!!!: I’m not looking for historical fiction, or books involving war/dictatorships etc
Not looking for “dark romance” either with those non-con smut

I want the complexity of the characters and their dynamic to make me cry rather than the environment forcing it

It’s my first time on a book sub but I feel like recommendations are the best way to find something like that, since well, I can’t just filter books by tropes I want haha
