Books like the show PONIES?

If you haven’t seen the show (heavily recommend it), it’s a 70s spy comedy surrounding two young widows whose husbands were killed by the KGB, and with them still in the USSR, they take up their mantle and become spies themselves.

With that, I’m looking for anything centered in the 1970s-1980s, preferably in the USSR but any European country will do, centered around a woman or women, and an interesting plot.
