I have been surching around, and mostly those books are writen by women, for women.
I guess men don't read or write as much, and if they do, they are not doing the necessary therapy to go really deap into those subjects, therefore, its quite difficult to find a book that resonates with me.
And most of the time, the books talk about violent upbringings. Neglect differs from abuse, while the first is the absense of parenting, abuse is the extreme oposite. Most books I could find have addicted parents that cared for their children in violent and abusive ways.
I am looking for the child that grew up in front of a TV, and only saw their parents a coulpe times a week.

Adult children of emotionally immature parents might be for you. It’s not gender specific, written by a woman, but definitely covers emotional neglect
Demon Copperhead by Barbara Kingsolver? Don’t think it’s a full fit, but don’t think it’s written for women.
