Hey all! Recently updated screen time limits for myself and locked myself out of the settings. Had a lot more time to read as of late. Here’s what I’ve gotten through so far this year. I really loved project Hail Mary. I read Twice by MitcH Albom, all his books literally always hit. And I enjoyed dog stars. The four agreements is something a buddy of mine gifted me I don’t usually enjoy self help but it was good. It was a struggle for me to get through A Series of Fortunate events (a non-fiction science book). The Ministry of Time was really good, but I don’t love the ending. Anyways, I’ve been pretty into the sci-fi genre. But I just kind of want to read more and read anything. I lose attention if I’m not pretty sucked in to a book. I either fully dive in or can’t get through a page without reading it 2/3 times. Any suggestions? All types welcome. Any of your favorites you think I’d like? Something captivating 🙂

Some other that I’ve read that I loved:

    – hitchhikers guide to the galaxy

    – tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow

    – the giver

I like a lot of these books you mentioned and I just FLEW through Dark Matter a couple of weeks ago. Short, science fiction, and there’s an Apple TV show based off the book you can watch after if you really want (it’s also good! And they changed some stuff so you won’t know EVERYTHING that’s going on)

    2. Three by John Scalzi:

***Starter Villain*** is the most entertaining book I’ve read recently. It’s a spoof of the early James Bond movies. A substitute teacher inherits his estranged uncle’s villainy which comes complete with a secret volcanic lair.

***The Kaiju Preservation Society*** is ‘a common man put into uncommon circumstances’. It’s fun and adventuresome.

***Redshirts*** is a satire of space-opera from the point-of-view of ‘expendable’ crew.
