I watched Greenland recently. I liked it, I was wondering if there are any books that fit the genre of "oh no we are all going to die🙄" and there's a bigass meteorite hurling down the earth and yea.
Or not just meteorites but anything end of the world related. Could be aliens. Could be diseases. Could be anything.

Black Moon was about people no longer able to sleep.
Random Acts of Senseless Violence was outstanding
Also a huge fan of the first half of the Stand
Rumaan Alam’s Leave the World Behind is sort of like that. Station Eleven is also a classic, but it gets recommended so often on here that you might have heard of it already.
In general, what you’re looking for is apocalyptic fiction, so I’d start from there. There are some pretty good lists on Goodreads!
