I’m looking for a book my son & I can listen to on audible on our car rides. He’ll be 12 in May, and is an advanced reader for his age. I’m interested in any young adult books we might both enjoy that do not contain any “spice” content to them.

T. Kingfisher has some suitable for kids, like Minor Mage or A Wizard’s Guide to Defensive Baking.
The Percy Jackson series might be good. It is fun, easy and very entertaining!
