A girl gets lost in the woods and is near death, but keeps Lord Death from collecting her soul by beginning to tell a story that doesn’t have an ending yet, and telling him she’ll continue the story the next day. In that time, she tries to find love and ends up helping members of her village and in the end, she and Death end up having a romantic relationship.
