I’ve been living through blizzard after blizzard and am going incredibly stir crazy, feeling very isolated as I live alone. Can you recommend cozy books (think books that feel like a hug) that can help me? Most recent ones ive felt this with and absolutely tore through have been the stories life of AJ fikry, the house in the cerulean sea, and a Christmas memory (the short story by capote). I already read incredibly bright creatures and didn’t love it (don’t hate me)

It gets recommended a lot, but A Psalm for the Wild-Built by Becky Chambers is perfect for this. Also has a sequel if you enjoy the first book 😊

    2. The Cat Who mysteries by Lillian Jackson Braun, a writer and his two cats solve mysteries. Also The Retired Assassin’s Guide to Country Gardening by Naomi Kuttner.
