Books about platonic male friendships.

I’m a female writing a book where the majority of the characters are male. I want to write realistic male friendships and I understand they can differ from female friendships. Any books that explore that dynamic, ideally if it’s set in mid century rural America. Though any books of platonic male friendship is welcomed.
