Recently I have been getting into a lot of classics like Homer’s Iliad and Oddesey. I have my own edition of the book, but I will go back and read it again if I ever get in the mood. My interests ( which I am still discovering) range from epics, Victorian literature, to American classics.

I’ve also been interested in the American writer Edith Wharton, and some of her works like the Age of Innocence or The House of Mirth. I like the social commentary and the themes of her novels which appeal to me.

I love E. M. Forrester and Thomas Hardy, although Hardy does infuriate me at times. You’re right about Edith Wharton, I love the way she writes although some of her characters are the most insufferable I’ve ever read (Undine Spragg and Ethan Frome come to mind).
