I'd like some suggestions for westerns written in the last 30 years or so that evoke that classic 'old-west' feeling in the vain of westerns written in the 50s. Doesn't necessarily have to be the same standard generic western plot though.

First thing that comes to mind are the Joe Pickett books and Longmire Series or the Hackberry Holland Series, In case i miss understood the post then in western then news of the World by Paulette Jiles after that I think wraiths of the broken land by s craig zahler, and lastly my fav The Thousand Crimes of Ming Tsu
