I'd like to meet female authors, but I'm open to any recommendations.

I'm interested in learning more about Eastern Europe, especially after consuming content about Serbia. Likewise, I know there are many differences between the Balkan countries, but I'm looking for a way to gain a better understanding without having to read a geopolitical book.

Since I already read Russian, I'm focusing on other countries.

    1. Drive Your Plow Over The Bones of the Dead by Olga Tokarczuk

One of my all time favorites. Paints such a beautiful scene of rural Polish villages and the hunting crisis. For not being a straight sociopolitical book, I sure learned a lot.
