Looking for nonfiction “what it was like to live in….” For the late 19th century recommendations

For some reason I’m struggling to find books like this. Currently listening to Liza Picard’s Victorian London and really enjoy it, but I want to learn about different areas and past the 1870s.

Japan, china, Russia, France, USA, and India are all areas that interest me ATM, but I’ll read just about any area. Especially if they go into the class differences and don’t just focus on upper class living. I’m so starved for these sorts of books though that I’ll check out basically any of it
