I've been reading a slew of history books both world history and U.S. history, I'm learning so much but I need a bit of a brain break from historical atrocities (as much as I love learning and reading about them), I realize I need to pace myself a bit and fall in love with the good things in the world for a bit
I thought maybe something on different cultures or niche events that many don't know about. Long books or dense books don't scare me, just something new and interesting and not centered necessarily on war and death haha

ANYTHING by Mary Roach. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Roach](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mary_Roach) . She is a science writer but her stuff is surprisingly funny for work that is so interesting and informative.
