Thanks to my new reading tracker I’ve realized that I mostly read book written by bipoc male authors (70%) or if they are written by women they are mostly white and Asian. So I’ve decided that I need to change that and widen my range. I’m looking for books written by either black, indigenous, or middle eastern female authors. I am not picky, I like: fantasy, sci-fi, fiction (contemporary and feel-good included), and thriller. I also like historical fiction( such as: the island of sea women, and pachinko) but those books tend to be quite mentally heavy for me so I read like 3 a year 💀 But don’t be afraid to recommend me books that will make me sob for 3 hours! I would also be up to try horror. The only genre I have a bit of a hard time with is romance, but only if it is only focusing on romance. I love a book that is about self discovery and romance (the little French bistro as an example)! Romance as a subplot is never a no hehe. Smut is not really my thing but like I can live with a sex scene or two.

Thank you guys in advance ❤️
