I recently read the invisible life of addie larue and loveddddd it! I guess I’m looking for more supernatural type love stories. But I don’t know if I’m ready to jump head first into full blown vampires, werewolves and fairies types stuff. Also I like a bit more subtly when it comes to romance.
Addie LaRue was a perfect mix, there was a balance as it went back and forth between her love story and present day exploring the new found connection she has found. It was a bit of romance, but I guess more-so just about a deep connection, with the added bonus of some cosmic supernatural being and curses.

‘The Sudden Appearance of Hope’ is a very similar story and I really liked it. Her other books ‘The First 15 Lives of Harry August’ and ‘Touch’ are similar too.
