Hi all,
I adore eerie, atmospheric novels like We Have Always Lived in the Castle, Diane Setterfield’s “The Thirteenth Tale”, Kate Morton’s The Secret Keeper, The Man in the Black Coat, and There Was a River.
I’m especially drawn to stories with unreliable narrators and slow-burn mysteries where the perspective keeps you guessing.
Any suggestion?

highly HIGHLY recommend The Buffalo Hunter Hunter by Stephen Graham Jones
it’s more on the horror side but in my first read through the realization of what was going on hit me at the same time as it did the characters
it’s chefs kiss
very gorey tho and disgusting in some places but definitely good
