Hi everyone,
I'm a lawyer by trade who reads too much for work and am returning to reading for pleasure. Before my reading-for-pleasure hiatus, my favorite authors included Philip K. Dick, Heller, Kafka, DeLillo, McCarthy, and Pynchon, but especially Philip K. Dick. Dark, witty, absurd, ironic books have always resonated with me, and now that I've returned to reading, I'm struggling to settle on where I should start again.
Any suggestions on post-modern, absurd, ironic, dark books of the likes of the authors mentioned above? Thanks!
