Which book has given you the most hope in humanity?

There’s a lot going on in the world. Sometimes you might feel like you can’t take it or try to ignore it to avoid more trauma or sadness in the world. Sometimes you just can’t read something like A Little Life, push it off to a future date that may never come. But some books can have the opposite effect and provide pure escapism or give you hope in your fellow man. What are your most optimistic books about humanity? East of Eden seems to be one I’ve seen mentioned where we all have time to change our ways, TBK as well with the mentality of the ultimate sinner even being able to change his ways if they chose to. The one that maybe changed your worldview for the better or got you out of a “people suck” mentality.
